A neighbor suggested I get this for one of my dogs that loves foxtails, and it's absolutely amazing. When he first pulled it out, my dog came back covered in foxtails, but none of them made it through the hood, and there was no damage to the material when I pulled them out. My dog was very comfortable in it, and he went straight to the pool to swim and drink water. I was hesitant to buy it because, let's be honest, it looks like a medieval torture device. However, my dog doesn't mind it at all and knows that once it's on, he can go outside and play. He has a wide range of motion and doesn't experience any visual impairment; he might just be wearing doggy sunglasses. They're easy to clean and look like they're made from high-quality materials, sewn very well. It should be in stock at all veterinary offices. I will be a customer for life!
